Technology companies, venture capitalists, startups and angel investors from many countries around the world will be participating in the four-day event.

The top startups will be given an opportunity to network with mentors, investors, tech executives and the media during Startup Istanbul. A special program has been prepared for the selected startups, which includes workshops, mentorship, demo day, a boat tour and much more. The event is organized by Etohum, the leading accelerator program and seed investor organization in Turkey with the help of its main sponsor, ITU Arı Teknokent.

During the first two days, startups will be able to network, and attend talks and workshops. They will also get a chance to pitch their ideas and business plans to mentors and get feedback from them. Entrepreneurs passing the elimination round will go on to the finals on the 21st of October. They will also be invited to an investor-only demo day  where they will get an opportunity to pitch their ideas to more than 500 investors. On October 22nd, the top 100 startups will get the chance to explain their projects to investors and companies. The top 15 will then go through to the finals where they will present their ideas on the main stage of Startup Istanbul.

Last year, six teams from Pakistan took part in the event with two startups, Travoney and Jeevay Sehat, making it to the top 15 round in Startup Istanbul.
